ManHole.ca Free Stuff Give-Away!

By submitting pictures in our Give-Away, Entrants acknowledge and agree to the Rules & Regulations stated below.
Shortform
Simply submit an original photograph of a manhole cover through our web form, or by email, or by mail. One entry per original
photograph submitted. An original photograph is an unique picture, multiple submissions of the same photograph, or the same
manhole cover (wihtin the same location) will NOT be counted.
A minimum of fifteen (15) pictures submitted during a calendar month will be chosen at the sole discretion of CyberBid
Services/ManHole.ca. These pictures will be posted on the manhole.ca website for rating by all contestants & visitors for a
period of two weeks.
All contestants will be notified by eMail once the rating period begins. Pictures can only be voted on once per day per
visitor. The picture with the highest amount of points at the end of two weeks will be declared the winner.
In the event of a points tie, we reserve the right to select a winner at our sole discretion (i.e. coin toss). The non-winning
tied entry/entries will be re-submitted for the next month's draw.
The winner will receive one T-Shirt of their choice and in the size of their choice, as well as one postcard of each variation.
We reserve the right to make substitutions if quantities of either T-Shirts or Postcards vary.
Entrants are restricted to one T-Shirt per quarter.

referred to as "images") obtained from various sources around the world. CyberBid does not sell, or endorse sales of any manhole covers, nor any manhole cover accessories.
CyberBid is also not responsible for any contents or opinions created by or stated by any websites that have been linked to or from this website and are not the property of
CyberBid. By submitting images, the sender agrees to release and hold harmless CyberBid, its owners and partners, agents or agencies, affiliates, heirs or executors on all
damages, injuries, claims, causes of action, or losses of any kind resulting from the participation and/or obtaining of images for this website, including, but not limited
to infringement of intellectual property rights or copyrights, or risks undertaken in capturing/obtaining images.
Images, including any applicable contest submissions, are accepted from both amateur as well as professional sources; contest are open to all, unless country or provincial/state
restrictions apply and/or prohibit.
What to submit
Images of manhole covers, regardless of shape, design or location will be accepted, pending size and quantity limitations. CyberBid recommends images be created from
directly above manhole covers.
Manhole.ca portrays images of actual manhole covers. CyberBid will not accept any obscene material, and reserves the right to submit offensive material to law enforcement
agencies. CyberBid reserves the right to define "obscene material" or "offensive material" as it sees fit in this regard.

CyberBid assumes no responsibility, nor liability for loss, damage, or misdirection of any submitted images. Receipt of images will not be acknowledged. Printed images
should be sent in a cardboard mailer to prevent damages. Entries mailed from countries other than Canada may be subject to customs declaration, which remains the sole
responsibility of the sender.
Cost of Submission/Reimbursement
Any and all costs of photo developement and/or submission, including, but not limited to postage, duties, or internet access fees, is the sole responsibility of the sender,
and will not be covered by CyberBid under any circumstances. Submissions with insufficient postage will be rejected.
Photographer copyrights at time of submission
Images submitted must be by or authorized by the original photographer. Submission of images guarantees that the sender is the rightful owner and copyright holder of, or
is the authorized representative of the actual owner and copyright holder and is acting on their behalf. CyberBid, nor any of its owners, partners, agents, agencies,
affiliates, heirs or executors are liable nor responsible for any copyright infringement for any images received, nor displayed.
Photo Format
Digital images can be submitted in .jpg only through the webform - and are to be no larger than 650 KB in size. Digital images are to be no larger
than 1000 x 1000 pixels, and no smaller than 500 x 400 pixels. Digital submissions should not have any visible signatures, watermarks or copyright notices added to the
image. Prints shall be in colour and no smaller than 4 x 6 inches. CyberBid does not accept negatives, nor dia.
eMails and/or prints are to include the name of the photographer, the location of the image, and the date the image was made. Information of prints should be attached to
the back of the print by label, and not handwritten onto image. Prints will not be returned, unless expressly requested and are accompanied by a self-addressed envelope
with sufficient Canadian postage included at time of submission.
Image selection
Images selected for display/portrayal on manhole.ca remain the sole discretion of CyberBid at all times. By submitting images, the sender does not obtain any implied
or non-implied rights to have their image published. There will be no quantity restrictions for submissions by electronical, nor postal means, unless stated otherwise.
Image credits and Usage Rights
All images submitted and/or displayed remain the copyright of the photographer. Photographer credits will be shown on all publications. By submitting images, the copyright
holder agrees to grant CyberBid, its owners and partners the right to portray, display or publish images on its website(s), or in print material or publications, without entitlement
to reimbursment, royalties, dues or financial compensation of any kind. Submission therefore constitutes agreement to allow publishing, reproduction and/or exhibition
rights of images, free of charge, to CyberBid, its owners and partners in perpetuity. CyberBid reserves the right to alter any image submitted, either in size or dimensions,
to better fit the manhole.ca website.
Contest or Competitions
Contests or Competitions are not an implied, or non-implied right, but remain in the sole discretion of CyberBid to hold.
Any contests or competitions involving the submission of any images are subject to all aforementioned submission rules
and/or regulations. Entries will be judged by creativity of submission, photographic quality and effectiveness in conveying
the unique nature of the medium "manhole covers", as seen fit by appointed judges. Contest and/or competition limits number
of entries per person to five (5) images of manhole covers.
Judges will be selected by CyberBid and may include up to numerous judges, including up to members of CyberBid and various
contestants entered in the competition and chosen at the sole discretion of CyberBid. Judges will be requested to grade
the images from 1 through 10, with 10 being the best image. The image that receives the most overall points will be
declared the winning image. A runner-up image will also be selected. If insufficient entries are received, CyberBid
reserves the right to award only one prize, prolong submission timeline, or to completely cancel the contest in its
entirety. Winners will be notified within 2-4 weeks of entry deadline by email only. In the event that no email was
provided, CyberBid reserves the right to void the entry and award any prize to the entry with the next highest amount of
points as awarded by the judges. Winners and results will be posted on this website. Prizes may vary, and will be
determined prior to start of any contest or competition. Winners may be subject to a skill-testing question if within
certain country and/or provincial legislation.
By participating in any CyberBid hosted or sponsored contest or competition, the entrant agrees to release and hold

Any attempts to damage, disrupt or otherwise influence the outcome of any contest or competition hosted or sponsored by CyberBid, or any attempts to damage, disrupt or otherwise influence
the content of this website may violate both criminal and/or civil laws and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This includes, but is not limited to, the
submission of any computer related programms designed to disrupt services, i.e. viruses.
By submitting images in any format, and/or entering in any contests or competitions hosted or sponsored by CyberBid, the sender/entrant agrees that the courts of the
Province of Ontario, Canada shall have jurisdiction to entertain any legal action or other proceedings based on any provision of this disclaimer. The sender/entrant
hereby irrevocably attorns to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Should any part of this disclaimer happen to be illegal or
invalid due to laws or legislations, all other parts remain valid. Other restrictions may apply.
